Server
Ensure that patrons have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. Servers work in the front of the restaurant taking orders, serving food and drinks, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. Servers are also responsible for processing payments, greeting customers, cleaning and re-setting tables in dining area.
Bartender
Ensure that patrons have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. Bartenders are responsible for preparing alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons, interacting with patrons, taking orders and serving patrons, assessing patrons’ needs and preferences and making recommendations, mixing ingredients to prepare cocktails, check patrons’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age, restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
Daytime Host
The responsibilities of the hostess include monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables, estimating wait times for guests, monitoring the guest waiting list, and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting. The hostess is also responsible for answering the telephone, booking reservations and moving tables together to accommodate large parties.
Cook
The Cook is responsible for preparing foods to the standards set by the Executive Chef. The Cook reports to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
Promote, work and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Pogo’s Kitchen.
Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies.
Attend all scheduled employee meetings.
Communicate to other restaurant staff and leadership effectively, efficiently and with respect.
Follow sanitation and food safety practices, kitchen must always be health department inspection ready.
Ensure that all food and prodcuts are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working through personal inspection and following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance program.
Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count, wight and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance wih the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures.
Dishwasher
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all serviceware and kitchen areas to the standards set by the Executive Chef.
